Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aetherify (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Aetherify Chrome Extension and the Aetherify web dashboard (the “Service”).

If you are using the Service from the EEA/UK, we process personal data under GDPR/UK GDPR rules. This document is a product-friendly baseline and not legal advice.

What we collect

Account data: email address and basic profile fields (name, avatar).
Prompt content: prompts you save to your library, including variables and metadata you provide.
Usage data: feature usage events (e.g., “insert”, “enhance”) and timestamps. Analytics events do not include prompt content.
Diagnostics data: error reports and performance logs (e.g., crash reports, device/browser details, stack traces). We redact prompt content from these payloads.
Billing data: subscription identifiers and status (payments handled by our payment provider).

How we use data

Provide and secure the Service (authentication, access control, fraud prevention).
Store and sync your prompts across the dashboard and extension.
Run the “Enhance” feature (only when you request it).
Operate billing/subscriptions and customer support.
Monitor reliability and debug errors (diagnostics).
Improve the Service (optional analytics if you consent).

Google (only for the “Enhance” feature; your text is sent to an AI model when you request enhancement).

Data retention

Account & prompt data: retained until you delete your account or request deletion.
Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
Error/diagnostic logs: retained for up to 90 days.
Billing records: retained as required by law and payment processors.

Security

We use access controls (Supabase Auth + Row Level Security) to restrict access to your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; however, we take reasonable measures to protect information.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing.
